Elon Musk has a license to thrill
Last month the Lotus Esprit submarine prop used in the James Bond film "The Spy Who Loved Me" was sold at auction for $989,000. No one knew who the mystery buyer was until Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk was identified as the purchaser of this classic piece.
In a somewhat surprising turn Musk confirmed that he will attempt to upgrade the vehicle with a Tesla electric power-train and he will "try to make it transform for real."
We here at SimplePart wish Elon good luck in converting the sub into a real working car/submarine. It's innovations like these that spark future(and past) generation's creative spirits.
